how to make kyrandia 3 run in DOSBOX

can someone please help me run malcolms revenge on dosbox ive tried EVERYTHING and if u could write it in really simple baby steps that would be good too ive installed on on my PC but it wont run since im using windows XP so i downloaded dosbox and this is the furthest i can get before i have no idea wht im doing:

mount d d:\ -t cdrom

any help would be massively appreciated

actually i worked out how to do it and here it is just in case anyone else has the same problem!

in dosbox type:

mount x x:\ -t cdrom ('x' is the drive u loaded the cd rom into, mine was d so i wrote mount d d:\ -t cdrom)

then type d:

then type mount c c:\westwood\malcolm

then type install. go through all the usual stuff with installation and when its done just type malcolm.

For some annoying reason everytime u want to play the game you need to go through this whole process but it still lets you retrieve saved games. if anyone knows how to play the game without having to go through all the installation let me know. hope you guys find this useful!

I had the same result when I used the steps given.

you need to unpack what you downloaded to this directory to make the above instructions work.
