I need help

Post by Guest »

I am trying to get Primal Rage to work on my XP but i just get the error message "Primal rage requires at least a 486 microprocessor."

My grafics card is a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200, and my processor is a Intel pentium 4 CPU 2,40 GHz.

I really want to play this game once again since it was my favorite game when i was a kid, and ive tried to get it working for quite a long time now, i even tried running it in the kompadible modes, but no luck...

would really appreciate some help..

You have 2 possibilities to run Primal Rage on XP:
==>> Or Dosbox
==>> Or Vdmsound.
Works through both smoothly.

Plenty help topics for both of them. :)

That's an easy one: your keyboard is screwed up.
More precise your CAPS FUC**NG LOCK is blocked.

Some other things are wrong:
=> Neither we neither you seems to know what game you want to install.
=> You seems to have no idea of your sysspecs.
=> You also seems to have no idea whatsoever what your OS is.

Get a new keyboard, PC, or even better: get a gameconsole.

YES that's it.
And and and and ... you try to run ..... bwèrf... euuuuu ... *burps* ... sorry for that.... aaaa... euuuu.... Cops and Robbers for the VIC-20 from 1985 in dosbox ?

YES ? Yèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèhaw I've got it.

Sorry ol'chap, Cops and robbers for the VIC-20 will NOT run through dosbox on your system. No can do. NOPE.

Lol@dosraider :D Actually "Pfau Zeh" could be used for a vic 20 game :D

Do you have all the game files at the same directory? Write protected? You are running through dosbox? - not enough to just install it you know, you must start it and mount drive and get to the right directory etc..

As I understand it - games with just .exe-file will work a-okay, but when there are other files dosbox won't run them? I am no Dosbox expert but for you who are - is this a known problem or is Indr16 not using it at all?

I think most of the problems in this post might originate in Indr16's english knowledge. Or lack of it...

Indr16: You still have not stated what your system specs are - it seems that to help, that is needed.
At least - What OS are you running? Winxp? win2k? AND please, let us know just some of the games that work and doesn't work - we have nothing to go on here.

No no Tompa, using our good manners won't help here.

Let's try another angle of approach.

INDR16

WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT GAME YOU ARE TRYING TO RUN

WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT PC YOU HAVE

WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT

WE WANT TO HELP YOU BUT WE CAN'T HELP YOU WITHOUT INFORMATION

WE CAN NOT GIVE YOU A MIRACLE SOLUTION

DAMN YOU INDR16 NOW MY CAPS LOCK IS BLOCKED ALSO

In other words: IF you really want help and are not simply fooling (or trying to) around with us, give info:

=> What is your PC ? (CPU-RAM-Vidcard-soundcard // We all promess you we will not use this info to make money of it by selling it to the Russian or Chinese mobs.)

=> In heaven's name, you even have not said about WHAT game you are talking here (We promess you we will not give your info to third party who would be interested in it, it will remain a secret between you and us)

This is really a promising topic ....
