please help me identify old apple IIe game

I am remembering an ancient game that involved a character trying to navigate a maze with ladders, ropes, etc. The thing that most stands out in my mind was that there were keys of different colors that unlocked doors of matching colors. I can't remember any other details. Does anyone have any idea what game that might be?

No clue. Who in their right mind had an Apple? :) But here's a page with a long list of old Apple games that might have what you're looking for...

It could be "Beyond dark castle" - I only played it on an b&w mac SE with 9" screen. :D

It featured ropes and ladders alot. I think you had to locate keys also. I think you threw rocks at enemies.

One of the coolest games on that old comp - that and crystal quest! :D

I don't know why everyone talk about color keys and doors. The only thing that pop up in my mind is, as i said many times before - Lurid Land. It's probably the wrong game but maybe... :suspicious:
