I can speak US English, and a little Spanish and Japanese.

For example, I could ask for a soda or for directions to my hotel in Spanish or Japanese, but I couldn't discuss the rammifications of CIA involvement in unstable South American countries during the Cold War.

English, and Chinese. Not much Chinese, but way more than I ever wanted to know: luckily it is receding from my mind. Soon the memory of year 12 chinese will be nothing more than a memory.
