Looking for psychological analysis program (Mind Reader?)

Post by mzcool »

I used to have an old DOS program called Mind Reader or something similar. The premise was that you answered some yes/no questions about you or someone else and you got a full report back about their philosophy, their work life, future, past, sex life, school, etc. Pretty amazing stuff. I can't find it on dosgames, but I know it used to be there. Anyone know where I can find it?

are you sure you don't mean Eliza? that was the "psychologist" dos program. well, it doesn't sound like it anyway, but the best i can offer you would be ColorQuiz

Nope, it was definitely not Eliza, and it wasn't Color Quiz either. It's not a "psychologist emulator", it's a program that generates a psychological profile based on yes/no questions you answer about yourself or someone else, as I described it.

Eliza was originally a UNIX program, btw.

Bumping this again to try to find this game. Does anyone know where it is? Or even what it is?

You may want to look for "Mind Prober".

I think what you are talking about is an old dos personality assesment app called "MindViewer" which you can download free at mindmedia's website. It would reveal the darksides of people and was pretty darn accurate from what I have heard . Don't bother with all the minutia they make ya do to "earn" the password that allows you to unrar it. At the pw type "openup" sans quotes just like that
