DDR?
DDR?
Anybody else play it? My friend got me hooked in the arcades, so I had to go download Stepmania, and buy a pad last week. So... addictive...
It's pretty much the only thing I've used my computer for this week. I try to get off the pad, but as soon as the music preview for the song comes, I jump right back on. When I close my eyes, I see masses of scrolling arrows. I wake up in the middle of the night sweating, hearing myself shout, "Dance Dance!" And now whenever I see an arrow on anything, it makes me want to dance. I'm even considering recruiting members for a Dance Dance Revolutionary Army... which will take over the world of games...
I think I have a problem.

I was foolish enough to try it once at that new (well, 2 years old now) laser tag place in Carmel last year... I promptly discovered the game was of satanic origin and set the building on fire. Your supernatural obsession has only served to prove my theories true.
Though it *does* put new perspective on the phrase "dancing with the devil."

I have tried a different dancing game before on my sister's Playstation 2 (can't remember name). It was tiring but good exercise. It didn't make me an addict though.
It is either you are obseessed with that game like all of us are sometimes obsessed with one thing or another, or there is something wrong with the game (hopefully not).

I am SOOOO damn hooked on this game. Have been for like 3 years or more now.
Club Mix - DC
Max 1 and 2 - PS2
some GBA rom
Step Mania - PC
Flash Flash Revolution - PC
Delight Delight Reduplication - PC
I frigging own all my friends at this game. My best accomplishment? Playing for an hour straight (workout mode) in stanard and NOT passing out... yes I'm out of shape
Gamer: DDR = Dance Dance Revolution... I guess that's something else I'll have to take with me when I go on my Australia tour that will likely NEVER happen

I don't think I would like it so much if I hadn't played the actual arcade version, because I tried it on my friend's PS2, and I just didn't get into it.
But then when I got on those arrows, and they lit up as I stepped on them... the flashing lights synchronized to the beat of the music... random people watching...
That's what did it. Since I got it, I can do about half of the songs I try on standard, and a couple of the easiest ones on heavy. It's probably the dumbest game ever, but I'm beginning to wonder; how did I ever live without arrows telling me what to do?
