Kittie

Post by Dogbreath »

A while ago a member here, Kittie, told me she got her name from a friend's band. I hadn't thought much about that until now, when I decided to look it up... apparently it's an all woman death metal/screamer band.

Holy crap, man! You've got ghetto friends... :shifty:

I have to say, I thought kittie was female as well.

Strange, to name a band like that, 'kittie'...

There are four of their CDs and an EP on iTunes.

My friend played me some of their music over the phone a year or so ago. I just didn't get it.

[Edit: Oh man, I just realized that wardrich has passed up my post count. I suck at posting. :( ]

Image Wow, I wonder when that happened.

I've only heard Brackish by Kittie... it wasn't a bad song back in the day. I should dl one of their newer songs, see if they've gotten any better

I'm basically in the same boat as Rich, except I have only heard the album "Spit".

Surprised that not many people here have heard of this band. They've been around for a while....I believe that they're from canada and already one of their band members left. Brackish was one of the few songs I liked from them but other than that I didn't really have a particular liking towards them.

I've known of them for a while, it just struck me recently that Kittie claimed to be friends with the band... which is pretty amazing, all things considered.

I think they're from Hamilton Ontario... I could be wrong tho, but I'm almost 100% sure they're from Somewhere in Ontario.
