Jazz Jackrabbit in XP

Post by Pickle_Head »

I am seeing a lot of great news here about Jazz Jackrabbit and XP! I have the original disc. I FOUND IT FOR .49 CENTS AT EB! I remember this game well and know that my 5 year old boy would fall head-over heels for this game! If anyone can please help me with this i would be very grateful. Email : [email protected]
Thanks in advance! :)

wow that is cheap as my LOCAL Eb games store doesnt have old games :|

www.qmw.ac.uk/~ugah006/gotools/tppatch.html is the location for tppatch and download it. Then put into your system32 directory (in c:\windows\system32)

go to start>run and type command
IT may be easy to put the jazz jackrabbit folder into c:\ before hand make sure it is just called 'jazz'
Then in command prompt make sure you are in c:\jazz and then type tppatch.exe jazz.exe (presuming the jazz jackrabbit executable is called this)

and then it should say fertig...ok as this program was german

Now follow the instructions in the http://www.dosgames.com/forum/viewtopic-nc-t-2565.html post for the VDmsound download so you can run sound perfectly :)

I hope your 5 yo son does enjoy :)

I just bought JJ1 for my son, and we were both disappointed that it didn't work. I desperately need a patch for Windows ME. Please email me at [email protected]. Thank you.

For crying out loud! Why do we allow these damn guests to post?! They don't even bother to read the rest of the thread!

I agree cloud, but if we had no guests then they probably wouldnt be bothered coming a member and going elsewhere.

but for this case #$#@*$@# to all those guests who asked the same question over and over.

It would probably be a good idea to have this topic cleaned up (Deleted request posts) and then let the guests feast their eyes in it.
