Stephen King is one of the best & famous horror fiction writer.

The Dark Tower is really nice but I don't have the stamina to read continue reading and only read the first book, The Gunslinger. It was really make you look forward to finding out what will happen next. However when I finshed the book, I was disappointed that I had to read so many more book sequels in order to continue the story. There are until 7 books to finish the series - see Dark Tower Official Site.

I like "The Langoliars" 4-part mini-series show and also read part of the story in the "Four Past Midnight" book by Stephen King. It was a sci-fiction supense triller. His movies are also good. I enjoyed "The Fire Starter" and "Firestarter: Rekindled" (the sequel). Once after I watched the movie "The Shining", I kept thinking of the scene of 2 girls with the blood flood. It scared me. However, it was really an exciting horror movie.

You should try reading DKII. It's not as taxing as DKI, it's more linear and is easier to read. DKI is really the odd man out in the series.

I've been reading his Secret Window book with the collection of stories. I'm currently reading The Library Policeman off of it.
