Want to find old game [= Odell down under]

Post by beavisrules06 »

In elementary school, about 8 years ago give or take, I remember playing this game in the computer lab. You were a ocean fish and u had to eat to get bigger. Every new level, you were a bigger fish and could eat new things, and be eaten by less things. How they said the title in the beginning was cool, but i cant remember. I was wondering if any of you know the game i'm talking about. It may have the word deep or dangerous in it, but I'm not sure. If you do know it, please inform me, Thank you.

not it. You have a side view, and you start with a small fish, that i think eats like plankton, then u slowly move up, and finally u get to shark and other stuff like that. The computers at the school i think may have been a mac, but i'm not sure.

It's not the game you're looking for, but "Shark! Shark!" for the Intellivision was a game about eating fish, getting bigger, and occationally tangling with a shark. :)

Info on it can be found at:

http://intvfunhouse.com/games/shrk.phtml

A great Intellivision emulator can be downloaded from:

http://www.shinytechnologies.com/nostalgia.php

As for the ROM ... well you're on your own to find that ;)

PS. Just to make myself clear, I know this isn't the game you're looking for, but this thread made me remember this great old game, so I figured I'd post about it ;)

Sounds like Odell Down Under, an old game by Mecc. I'm almost 100% sure that's what it is.

Also, there's a game called "Odell Lake", but you aren't a shark in that one.

Now that we have that, does anyone know the name of the game where you were a miner and you could find pitchblende and feldspar and things like that?

The name of the game is "Odell Down Under" I may have spelled "Odell" wrong.

Fortunately though, albeit old, this game is a windows game and hence runs on any windows OS, including XP and 2k.

Thanks for voicing your oppinion on the site. However, not giving any reasons as to why "this site sucks ;like hell" really doesn't say much more than "Hi, Im a 12 year old AIM user who just lernded how to use my keybord. lolzzzz. im gona caus trouble on teh intrent!!111!1!" Next time you post a bias such as that, at least post some legatimate, intelligent points as to why the ssite sucks like hell, if intelligence is possible from a 12 year old AIM user. (no offence to 11 or 13 year old AIM users)

The zip should work, just try it, and if it doesn't then just do a search, that should turn up what you are looking for.

Guest posters: Please read the previous pages of this thread before you post a request for this game. Chances are, someone has already posted what you need. Also, try to keep random input at a minimum, because, while you may think you are funny, you aren't. Thankyou for your
co-opperation. :cuccoan:

Is this game good? Worth the download?

Similar to Odell...

Post by Jeanne »

I found a new game similar to that called Feeding Frenzy -- I used to be addicted to Odell when I was younger, and now I'm addicted to this. It is a bit different, and there are no fake lure fish in this one, but it is quite fun.
