Due to suspicious activity when new members sign up and dont post..

Dont you think we should have like an email verification thing? an activation thing. So that we have to go to our emails and activate our accounts ?
So that we dont get clogged up..

Erm, not to burst your bubble, but we already do have one. You can't post without activating your account via e-mail.

Because they don't feel like it? If you're really curious why don't you e-mail a few of them and ask?

Yeah. If they don't care about us, why should we care about them?

Seriously, I don't see why we should go through the trouble of having people not added to the member list before they activate. We're about to purge some unused accounts anyhow, and the people who haven't activated yet really aren't worth the effort to remove/keep from the member list.

Good point. What the hell is suspicious about that? Lurkers are allowed, I'm one on quite a few forums.

I lurked on these forums for nearly 6 months before I started posting in 2001-some people just need time to get used to the community before posting. Nothing wrong in that.
