Yes I have. It is one of Lem's best books. I've seen the newest movie of it too, but that was complete crap. There's some older movie too, I haven't seen it yet.denrix wrote:have you read his Solaris, core? I dare to say it was the first and only book to scare teh living shit out of me.

Regarding "The Meaning of Liff" ... it's not in stock, so its likely that its out of print, meaning it might be wise to choose a different book since who knows if/when this one might become available ...

Not in stock? I thought it was availible? =/ Just for future referance how do I check that? I even looked at the 3 different places to buy from and it said it was availible. (My mom says that the place where it says "3 used and new" would say out of stock if it were, though obviously it must say so elsewhere)
Well its in stock at a Amazon marketplace store, but not at the "real" Amazon.com store ... essentially Amazon lists other places you can buy items, and takes a cut of the profits ... the shipping charges are also more But it doesn't really matter if Amazon.com itself doesn't have it I guess, as long as someone has it

The winner of the first DOS Games Forum Contest is:
<center>:bday: <b>Da_Goat</b> </center>
Congrats! The random # gen I used is at dosgames.com/winner.php if you're interested. The 1st list is a count of 2000 random #'s generated, to show that the distribution is basically even. The "WINNER" will change each time you reload of course
Since your book is in stock it should get shipped pretty quickly, I have to go out for awhile but I'll get it ordered when I get back later today.
Sorry to those that didn't win, but hopefully I'll be able to run other contests in the future. Thanks for playing!
