I see two problems so far:
1. It doesn't work.
2. It's much less secure than IRC and has less options. (btw, mIRC isn't the only IRC chat client, just one of them)

im working on a ew one anyways, but this'll do for now.
i dont want to d/l any program, sothis is easier.

it'll do for me. i'm not gonna get mIRC because my dad put my account on XP as a normal user, and only he knows the password to the admin account, which i need to install the mIRC software.

I've tried to get Dogbreath and Emmzee to utilize it, but to no avail. So maybe I'll link it here and the rest of the users demanding will make it appear. It's javIRC. Yes, a java based IRC client. You can get it (and emmzee can upload it) from
http://www.javirc.com This is what Game Hippo uses, and it's quite effective.
