That's a dirty lie.
The whole "sound affecting plants" thing started in the 70s when someone found that talking to plants helps them grow. It works because you exhale CO2 onto the plant.

Music alone won't do anything.

Edit: That's a religous fundamentalist web site! It says that rock music will send you to hell. I call their bullshit.

I have the book here on the first exp done on the subject. A grow box was constructed, 8'L x 4'H x 2'D. Speaker was placed in the end of the left side. Classical, Rock, Pop and Mood music were played. Plants grew towards Classical and Mood. Away from Rock and Pop. Interesting that the music bouncing off the far side of the box had to do with the growth pattern. Thus the "good" music caused the plants to grow towards both ends and the "bad" music bunched the plants in the middle. Further more growth was seen in the "good" music box.

Pot growers took much notice of the phenom.

Jesus this is just hilarious! First the contact lenses, then CSharks' Linda, and now this! Man, this is the funniest forum on the web!
"Long before there was ultra-super-duper-128-bit-polygon-video-capture, hardware hype, wEiRd TyPe, pointless game ratings, E3, SCREAMING GUYS in ads, Virtual Reality, cliches like "in your face" and "it's the ultimate", 360 degree roto-scope-rhetoric from self righteous reviewers, CD-this, 3-D that, multi-million-dollar TV commercials tainted with TOILET humor...

...there was fun."

That's interesting info-though I'd reccomend that you choose your websites more carefully-it could give a person the wrong impression about what you're trying to imply. (Not saying you are)

Anyhow, does anyone here know where I can get a 10' subwoofer for cheap? My lawn needs mowing and that Master of Puppets CD won't last forever. :P
