I got a new computer as a christmas present. New for me, it's used. 467 MHz, 196 Mb RAM, 6,5 Gb, 17" screen, a blue internet keyboard, a wheeled mouse, two VERY small speakers, 48x CD-ROM drive, a floppy disk drive (naturally). I quess that's all. Oh yes, it costed barely 200 €. In dollars... Um... It's either the same, or you first multiply it by 6 and then divide it by 10. Anyway it was cheap, and serves a useful purpose.

...there was fun."

I'd like to see how you got 196mb of ram.

128 chip + 64 chip + 4 chip? I just can't add it up. I see how you can have 192mb, but not 196. And that proc is officiallly 466mhz.

Your computer would be $251.94 in the USA or $325.58 in Canada...

(Question: Shouldn't that be €200 or is that another thing you Finnish people do backwards?)

Well it's 200 € regardless of what you say. At least here in Finland. And the processor says in the preferences (or whatever it is, control panel?) it's 467 MHz. And yeah, sorry, it's 192 Mb. For some reason I recalled it wrong. (Possibly because in GM I often use 96 that's a multiplation of 16).

And I forgot to mention my OS: Windows XP Professional.

You need to install Dosbox if you use _any_ version of XP. And VDMSound, in case a game works in pure XP and not DOSBox.

Well I don't understand what this XP - DOS thing is all about! All DOS games work just fine! From 144 DOS games I downloaded a while ago only about 6 don't work.

144 isn't that grand a number... on the other hand, when you have 1000+ like me it quickly gets difficult, especially with the late 80s games which are too complex to work with anything but too outdated to work easily.
