dosgames.com: Christmas DOS games!

Post by emmzee »

Hiya!

Okay so I thought I'd update the site once more before Christmas and add some Christmas/holiday related games on their own special page. So far already on the site we have:

Sint Nicolaas (Sidescrolling)

Super Speed Christmas Edition (Sim/Strategy)

Are there any others I've missed? I didn't really check the list, those are just the two that came to mind.

So far I've thought to add Jazz Jackrabit: Holiday Hare (demo) and Lemmings Holiday Edition (demo) ... any other DOS shareware/freeware/demo games come to mind?

I was going to say that but I figured it's a mod (made in the Jetpack GCS)-not an actual game. Still-it'd be cool if added. :)

I thought something like this too and searched a couple of games to add... but I thought december is a bit too early for christmas...

this are the games I was thinking of:

Super Speed Xmas Edition (already added)
Lemmings Xmas 94 (already added)
Jazz Jack Rabbit
Christmas Carnage (already added)

I think you don't care if I add christmas games too?

Sinterklaas isn't a christmas game... it's something Dutch but it's hard to explain... :) We celebrated it yesterday.

I think I'm going to let the gametips random between all the christmas games...

EDIT: the christmas games are now all game tip so they random at the front page... reload it and you'll see it :)

Aguydude wrote:In Sint Nicolaas, your job is to recover the presents which were stolen and dropped everywhere. You must collect presents and cookies and drop them down chimneys or Christmas will be ruined. As with all Wiering software, this game has high quality graphics and great gameplay. This game includes parallax scrolling, a configurable control set, joystick support, parallax scrolling, and even bonus levels if the level is completed with at least two minutes remaining.

Jazz '94 is shareware, but has better bonus song. 95 free'.

95 is stand along game and it's levels doesn't work with original.
If thou register '94, thoull't get all 9 episodes, but bonus song changes to original. How ever, thou can owerwrite original's files with 94 shareware's ones and game works.

WARNING! In Letni and Muckamog game backs to DOS! To avoid 'em either change sound card to SB compatible or 'quick play' levels and SAVE in Letni 2 and both Muckamogs. Also, Orbitus 2 is IMPOSSIBLE without ''cstrike'!
NO Windows, NO DOSBox, DOS!
