It depends on what conversion you use, DB. 1024 = 1 meg or 1000 = 1meg. Both are acceptable.

1024 is the proper term for 1GB, 1000 is just a rough estimate. 10GB expressed in MB is 10240, not 10000. In other words, 1024 is the most acceptable.
