Gimp

Post by Kazer0 »

Have you ever heard of it? I call it Gimp, as I was taught it was called. Its also called boolean string and rexlace. It's a kind of plastic string.

Well, anyways, I'm good at making neck thingys with it, for guys and girls, as well as rings, braclets, ankle braclets, etc. and want to sell them on the internet, pretty cheap. Like 1.00 each, less depending on size. Would you ever consider buying them? I'd sell them off the net. They are all hand made and contain 4 yards of gimp and some glass beads. Ill have a screen of my favorite one. I might also sell some hemp ones too. Whatya think? Could my idea of selling them on the net work?

congrats on being modded, kazer0. i hope you'll do better than TD.

if you ship to the UK, i'd consider it, although as a present; i'm not a beady person myself.

Make g-straps, and I'll buy my girlfriend one.

Well, I don't have a girlfriend, but if I did...

Ouch....that'd be all scratchy and stuff! I don't think I'd want to wear it! Although, if you make cotton ones, I'd buy....Or silk, silk is good....

Hey Kazer0, your into gimp too? I used to be really into it but I eventually got tired of making it a while ago. Here's a site that has some instructions on different types of knots, finishing knots, and project ideas. http://www.boondoggleman.com . If you don't sell them online you could always try at flea markets.

I use the generic butterfly way, but i use beads and colors to make it better. I would try some of those if the pictures actually helped, but they dont, the persons fingers are in the way.

I always thought Gimp was a picture-editing program for Linux, then later Windows.
