Help naming an old puzzle game.

Post by 5hfifty »

I remember playing this ages ago on my old computer, but I've forgotten the name, and I don't fully remember it. I remember something like that there were maze-like levels, and there were these little....bugs or something. You were this little man, and I forgot what you had to do, but I think you had to get them into traps. The graphics were similar to Jetpack's, but in EGA I think. You could make you own levels too if I remember correctly. I know there's not much to work on but please reply if you know anything.

P.S. I think it may have started with D. But I don't know.

Nope, sorry. It played a bit like Paganitzu. Thanks though.

My guess (besides the ones already mentioned) would be "Snarf".

See it:

Read my blurb about it:

Download it:

(Don't try to just cut off the later part of that url; it won't work  )

I just re-added this game to the site; apparently at some point it was removed (before dosgames.com moved to its own server) because I couldn't find a download link on the web. Well now you can download it from dosgames.com's very own server. Huzzah! :bday:

Webfoot, the makers of D.R.O.D., said that anyone who'd bother to go through the trouble of remaking D.R.O.D. could release it as freeware.

Caravel did so and they have an exact remake (same level design, monsters, rooms... everything down to every last roach) avalible
here
.
