4x space expansion game circa 2000 [Ascendancy]

Looking for a game I played sometime around 2000. I've been searching around and haven't found it, hoping someone here can remember the name.

Here's some key points I remember (of course everything but the name lol)
- turn based
- several alien races available
- traveled through wormholes/hyperspace links, each system connected to only 2 or 3 other systems
- 3d view of the systems
- each system had planets to be colonized and terraform
- the ship building system was completely customizable, you start with a ship size and add systems from there
- had a typical tech tree to research
- was ported to iOS at some point, I'm hoping it was also ported to android

Well I found it! It is called Ascendency although it was released 1995. There was a version on iOS but it was discontinued
