DOS Side scrolling Ninja/Samurai Game

It was a dos game, dark graphics and (i think) a samurai dressed in black. Can't remember that much.

Could be Shadow Knights, although the graphics are not so dark (for the most part).

I've been looking at some screenshots on google images and i realized the game kind of looks like the first level of "The First Samurai", hope that can help
