Back when I was in fourth grade (, there was a DOS game we played.

You were an explorer of types. The character model wore a blue coat, had a backpack and helmet with a light on it.

When you hit a key on the keyboard the light on your helmet would fire a laser, that would stun enemies and would also activate certain switches. You could fire it at these blue triangle crystals to reflect the beam in different directions.

I can't remember too much about the game, but it did involve exploring tombs/ruins looking something. I do remember the levels being tomb-like, but with conveyor belts. The only controls you had were your helmet laser, jump, and basic movement.
