Old MS-DOS FPS Game

Post by DreamCOST »

Greetings, fellow forum members.

I've been trying since 10 years from now trying to know which game it was that I played on a demo/pirated disc, where it came with the game Blood in it (one of many which were in it).

All I remember of it is that when you start the game/demo you are in a very, very dark room (with red wallpapers) with a pistol that you shoot against bats, it had a sort of doom UI and it seemed like you were in a mason but not sure.
I would dare to say that it was horror related and that it had a TV that I in vain tried to destroy.

I'm 99% sure the game you're thinking about is the generally terrible game "Nightmare 3D":

You can download it here:

Unfortunately, it isn't the game I'm searching for.

It felt much like doom/duke nukem but the ceiling weren't like in Doom and Wolfenstein 3D, more like Quake (might be because of having an old PC back in the day) and it was very dark by default.

Also it had to been released between:
9*-97/98

A long shot, but maybe Realms of the Haunting?

You're suuuuuuuure it's not Nightmare 3D? It begins in a mansion with dark red walls where you shoot bats with a gun, released in 1994 ...

It matches your description ... :shifty:

I'm 100%, since it didn't have that Wolfenstein 3D walls/ceiling and was as tight as Nitemare 3D seems to be.

It's very, very similar to that game.
But just a bit too dark this time. :)
And can't remember it following the "Real-actors-characters" genre.

Hmm, any chance it could be Blood or any of its add-ons?

Sorry tried that one too, it wasn't the game I'm searching for, although it did have the right "shadow" for it.

Sounds like Realms of the Haunting with the brightness turned down. ;/

Old DOS GAME

I too am looking for a game similar to the one Guest is asking about. It starts off with you holding a pistol behind a metal door. And once you get it open you have to kill an enemy. The first level looks a lot like the Windows red brick screen saver, with the red brick walls. Moving through the game heart powerups and hidden doors with more levels are all over. I've been searching for this game for years.

Sounds like the Fortress of Dr. Radiaki. Am guessing. Search for it online using a search engine as guests cannot post links here.
