Champions of Krynn Data Card

Hi, I'm playing Champions of Krynn (downloaded from the web) on DOSBox, and I need some help.

I can't figure out how to remove my characters from auto combat. The manual says to see my data card, but all the documentation I have (manual and journal) refers me to the "data card" which came in the box.

Does anyone know how SSI wants players to remove their characters from automatic control and reset manual control?
