Ok, this is going to seem like very sketchy info, but my sister and I remember playing this game about 10 or so years ago, and I cant remember what it was called:
1)It was a DOS game that had screen shots from first person viewpoint (pretty good graphics for the time, as I recall), although it was text driven. The screens would change in time lapse as you did or said things to people
2) You went to various worlds (maybe dream sequences?) during this game. Some things I remember are having to dig for gold ore, and a world where you see Big Foot and go to his cave. I think you had to end up shooting the poor guy. There is also another scene where you are in space at some type of casino and there is a pretty woman talking to you
3) It was a little but more adult in nature. I think it was not a game really designed for kids
Thats it... I know, its sad. If anyone has any idea what Im talking about please post!!!
Older DOS game thats driving me mad! [Gateway]
Is it Frederik Pohl's Gateway?
However, in this game, the shooting part is the gopheria while there is a beast in a cave on one of the planets. Not sure whether the beast is your big foot. Here you can see option of casino in the game but can't find you the picture of it.
If it is the game you are looking for, it is now freeware so you should have no problem finding it. However, the sequel, Gateway 2: Homeworld is not yet freeware.
