Insert disk 2 into drive A: and press ENTER?

Post by KT_Cobra »

I'm glad to see everyone's still here and well. I haven't posted in a WHIIIILE.

I downloaded Grave Yardage and took the tutorial on installing DosBox on Win 7. I did a few searches on how to get a game with an install file to work, but it keeps telling me to insert disk 2 into drive A (or C: which ever one I mount it to *I tried both*). According to the .rar file I downloaded there are 2 disk folders: disk 1 and disk 2. The only .exe file in both folders is "gy" in "disk 1". Am I doing something wrong through DosBox in trying to install this thing? Do I even need to install it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a ton!

One more thing. I tried simply dragging the .exe file and .bat file (install) into the DosBox icon. When doing that, it gives me the message "to insert disk 2" for the .exe file. When I drag the "install" file (.bat), it tells me "No destination drive specified".

Thanks again, folks.

Can't you ask where you downed it?
Or get it from HotU .... their copy works fine.

I have Windows 7 64 bit, and it's telling me that the version of Windows may not be compatible with the game. I figured DosBox may help with this issue.
