Keeping the member amount down when it gets popular

I think anyone that doesnt post within a week or 2 of joining, should be deleted. look at the member list. There are like 10 names that have no posts.

Don't kick them out. Maybe after two months.

Noooo! :blah:

Leave the silent ones alone. It's like being in a zombie movie. The silent masses advance upon you with glazed and bulging eyes. :shifty: :D

I don't think that we should rid ourselves of the silenced ones. After all, that would mean I would've been kicked when I went to Alaska. Maybe 3 months........after that, it's no longer vacation. You've moved and forgot your computer, or you've died.

Was it that's why I'd kicked out?

Yeah. We had about 200 members regged on the old board, but about 50-100 never posted. I'll go check.

I think that if they reg and dont post for a couple weeks after regging they should be deleted. I dont think otherwise they should, unless maybe somebody doesn't post for 6 months or something like that.

perhaps they prefer to just read the topics and dont have/want to say anything. They should stay.

I dont agree. If all they want to do on such a nice forum is read, they can just be guests. I see no reason at all to reg if not going to post. So, no, I can't really agree with you wardrich.
