Number Munchers Corrections

Post by paulbblair »

Version 1.0 is currently on your site. The EXE is dated February 2004. Your site and the readme file both mention 1988, but the readme also says:
it was originally being developed on a HP computer running Windows 98SE
...which makes the 1988 date impossible.

Version 1.1 is not on your site. The EXE is dated July 2004, and the readme contains this snippet:
Version History
------------------

v1.1: Released 5/21/04 - Fixed a major bug in the code that
caused an error upon exit.
Fixed a big typo in the readme.
Slightly tweaked the AI.

v1.0: Released 2/13/04 - Initial Release
I discovered this when compiling my "FUZOMA" bootable floppy disk with DOS games. More info and Number Munchers Tribute 1.1 download link here:
http://superkeen.com/peacecorpsweblog/l ... -software/

I really like your site so I wanted to let you know.

Thanks,
Paul

Correct. I should have been more clear. The version of Number Munchers on this site is actually called "Number Munchers Tribute," and it came out in 2004 as version 1.0. It isn;t on this site, but a 1.1 version came out later that year.

Don't mind Wally, he's the resident nitpicking Macnut.

BTW, nice initiative, that fuzoma thingy.
