Did you ever

Post by julie124 »

Did you ever have one of those months where nothing went your way? Just when you thought that it couldnt get worse it gets about 100 times worse?

It happened to me so many times that some people stay away from me because they think its contagious.
If I'm not here, I'm wandering the catacomb's of the mind, tempting madness at every turn, trying to remember where I put the remote!

One time I had a Jack and coke and it had a lime in it, And I saw that the lime was floating. That's good news man. Next time I'm on a boat and it capsizes, I'll reach for a lime... I'll be water skiing without a life preserver and people'll say 'What the hell?' and I'll pull out a lime...and a lemon too. I'm saved by the buoyancy of citrus.

Yeah, it's been that way this month. Things are getting better, though...

You know, it's almost silly how things like this can get us down. I just sit and think about human instinct and reaction.....the way things touch us. It's almost laughable at how fragile we really are, when we portray ourselves as strong, intelligent beings, when really...look at how pathetic we can get sometimes... But then again, we are strong. Because we keep going and going, even though these things make us hurt so bad.
Well, most of us. Some people don't...but I won't get into that....

Well let's look at my month thus far:

Got 36 out of 40 in my group presentation assignment thing at TAFE, getting the report bit back tomorrow, expecting at least a 40 out of 60 if not better.

Got 48 out of 50 on my budgeting exam.

More then likely going to an awesome gig this Friday.

Unistrut rang me last Friday and want me to come in for a job interview on Monday.

Damn it! I'm due for a run of bad luck now aren't I?

Your problems are really lame, no offense. But, there are worse things in life then not having the internet, and having your MOTHER, who has more money and more right to, to have something nicer than you...
Honestly: Deal. Don't be a big baby. People suffer much worse than you do.
I'm not saying I'm in this horrible horrible situation, but seriously. YOu need to put things into perspective.

Haha. I love how people compare their own problems...

Billy: I have a cold. :(
Maxine: Yeah, well I have laringitis...
Billy: Well I broke my leg...
Maxine: Well, my cat died...

Don't worry, DOSGames forum can take care of that. =D

Just keep taking showers. Then, one day, Dogbreath will come to your house while you're in the shower. After he has his way with you, you'll go out to a cheap restaurant. In your case, maybe Tim Horton's. Or maybe even to a hole-in-the-wall poutine place.
