Nice, I wasn't going to camp out for a videogame system. lol. And they've been sooo hard to find. The moment I had money, they all disappeared... and the secodn I spent my money, the stores were lined with the things.

Actually I arrived only 5 minutes before the store opened. I was 22 out of 24 people able to get one.

I got mine about 2 wks ago ... my friend was able to get 2 and sold me one ... yay for not camping out :D

Games so far:
Rayman Raving Rabbids (fun!)
Super Paper Mario (sooooooo good)

I also played Mario Party 8 recently but it wasn't that great.

They're used for online multiplay(friend codes), I think it's something like Direct IP-to-IP(p2p) gaming!

I'd assume that the wii games also rely on nintendowifi. The adding a friendcode is more like adding an e-mail address on msn.

FRIENDS CODE OR GTFO. haha, jks. I wanna get Mario Party, Paper Mario, Warioware, and Smash Bros (when it comes out). And a Mod Chip. hahaha. But I'm too afraid of b0rking it. I'll wait for the warranty to void... and the Mod Chips to get better.

Have a question about the wii. You know how the eye toy does not work very good is the wii anything like that because they are similar? Is the wii bad at movment sensing like the eye toy which now justs gathers dust?

They're totally different. The eye toy relies on optical sensing. The wiimotes rely on bluetooth communication. They work great, but they're apparently a bit hard on batteries.

not really, they only drain fast when you leave them in and accidently press one of the buttons or put something on it. so if you leave buttons up and nothing on it they last ages.

but ive gotten into the habit of taking them out as many of my batteries have leaked

maybe one of those battery packs that connect to it and have a really long wire that plugs into the wall.

then again that would kind of wreck the "wireless" feeling

Not too sure... Mine dropped to 3/4 after a few days, but then I haven't played it in a while and it's back up to 100%. I'm gonna guess 2AA's a month.
