If you don't have anything new to bring and only can parotting what's already been said, then please shut up Franpa.
It's all been said before.

And what's more:
Dosbox runs perfectly in Vista, and doom in it.

READ the posts that Bloodwrath made, do you really think he will be able to setup one of the ports? What's more, to use one of those ports he needs at least one installed doom game-(shareware or full)-. No wad -> no port.

Also been said before in this topic, and forget the 'AFAIK', that's the difference between you and me, I know it works in Vista(32 ànd 64), you only can guess facts and parrot things.

:blah:

Glad to hear you get those zombies after your sorry arse, Bloodwrath.

And FYI: I didn't say you are too stupid.
More some lack of basic PC knowledge. Not the same.
As far as I know, your probably a genius, but not in the PC handling.
Can't have it all.

Well, I'm a little confused that no one told me this site didn't have the full version, but that's okay. I decided to go with chocolate doom and i need to know how to install it.

It's clearely listed as shareware in the game info on the main site.
Offering the full game as download would be illegal.
You still can buy the full game.

About chocolate port:
Here you can join the appropiate forum and ask all your questions:
http://www.doomworld.com/vb/source-port ... te-doom/3/

But you will probably be better off with an enhanced winport as
http://www.doomsdayhq.com/
This one works for sure with the shareware version.
And of course there also is a forum about that one:
http://forums.newdoom.com/forumdisplay.php?f=57

Getting you to run Doom in one of the ports is really way beyond the purpose of DGF.
That's why there are specific forums.

Are you saying that there is no free way download the entire doom game? Do any ports let you play the full game?

You can read, can't you?

Most of the ports will work with the sharewareversion, -(some even incude the first episode)-, all work with the full version of the game, but don't -(for legal reasons)- include the full game.

Don't even ask where you can download the full game for free, or this topic will be locked, read the rules of the forum please.
If you want the full game: buy it.
