downloaded Street Rod, but cant seem to get it to work

downloaded Street Rod, but cant seem to get it to work

i downloaded Street Rod today, but when i went to play it, i couldnt get it to work, i clicked "car" or whatever and there werent any cars in there. how do i get started? thanks.

DOSBox is an emulator program you need it to run old DOS based games in OS like Windows XP.

Check out this guide for more information. Feel free to ask more questions if you still have trouble.

why is it all like slow-motiony? when i move my mouse it's all slow. and how can i start to race?

Increase the frameskip (Ctrl+F8) and CPU Cycles (Ctrl+F12)

yes... once you have started the game press the buttons listed in the previouse post

please note the following

a) frameskip makes the game jerky but faster

b) if the game is worse when you increase cpu cycles, try lowering them. (check the readme included in dosbox on how to do that as i dont know the hotkey for that task)

Ctrl+F7 can be used for lowering frameskip.

and are you using d-fend in conjunction with dosbox?
