actually, i read it on a site that 1337 was originally used for that exact purpose. The ISDN and others couldnt understand it so thats how it got started http://www.anus.com/etc/1337/
for the whole story.

You can get a translator from that site.....but you need perl and crap.

Wow, you've completely got me with that 1337 stuff ... tried to work it out but came up with the-underdops. lol ... now my partner is wondering why anus.com is coming up in our history ... you'd think they'd come up with another name

Close enough.... I remember once I asked for a game and everybody was trying to give me good clues... I enjoyed it, especially cuz I knew the site already....
