Hi there,
Would like some help in remembering a game I played when I was a kid around early 2000s.
If I remember correctly, I played this game in GBA. The gameplay I would say is similar to Pokemon (e.g. capturing monster, random encounter outside city) but in this game it's more like capturing monster spirits? The spirits would then turn into various types of weapon during battle (e.g. sword, hammer). The game is also very centered in Japanese culture (e.g. from in-game building architecture and the use of traditional Japanese music)
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I don't know, but maybe look in this list of GBA JRPG games: https://www.mobygames.com/browse/games/ ... -rpg/jrpg/
I think the GBA could play older GameBoy and GBC games too, so maybe it's something to look at in the lists.
There is also a monster capture/trainer group: https://www.mobygames.com/game-group/ga ... e-training
