PC Platform game finding animals that follow you around

Hi, Im looking for a game I used to play around 2008.
It was a PC game i could download without any costs. 2D side scrolling platform. You played a girl (?) who had to find small animals that once you found them would follow you around and copy your moves. you had to bring them to some kind of blue pool where they would stay. per level you had a specific amount of animals you had to find.
In the game you had also a x-mas special (few levels with a Christmas theme) and the option to build your own level.
I cant remember there being any monsters, i think there were spaces with spikes that could kill you. I think you had to play with some kind of timer, not sure about that.
