Hi, the game looks like a doom clone, and takes place in a castle. Old graphics, it's likely a dos game, butI'm not sure. There is also text in the game from people talking/thinking.

You are a girl taken in by the owner of the castle to be his wife I believe.

While exploring the castle you find a secret passage in a book case,

while in there you find some jewelry, pick it up, then a bloody person (i don't remember if hes alive or not, I think he talks to you). Then you leave and put down the necklace on the way out of the secret passage.

I saw my dad playing this maybe 10 years ago, but he doesn't remember it and I cant find the game or any similar ones on his computer (hard drives changed at some point.)

If anyone knows or can help out its greatly appreciated!

Some of this sounds vaguely familiar but I don't remember any game with this exact setup and plot.

You could try finding it in the list of games with female protagonists:

Also what language was it in? English or other? And when you say Doom clone do you mean exactly the ability to move around freely in a pseudo-3d environment, or was it something with grid-based movement like Might and Magic III etc.?
