Turn-based life simulation game (DOS, PC) [Jones in the fastlane]

Hi, I tried my best to find the game on MobyGames but was unable to.

I played it on a PC at my friends house, pretty sure it was a DOS game (because of the graphics)

We played it around the year 1999-2001, but the game was alot older then that im sure, maybe in the range of 1990-1995 (not sure)

The genre of the game was some kind of life simulation, you played as a guy "walking" around in a town, more like clicking your way to a destination and every click you spent an action that you had during your turn. (lets say you had 8 actions that you could make in one turn)

It was 2D graphics.

What you did in this game (as I described alittle before) was that you played as this guy, I want to say that he was called Johnsson or something.
You could play it solo vs computers or you could play it vs your friends.
The goal of the game was to get the most fanciest appartment & job and by getting this you started with some cash and had to get a job, you also had to eat.
So you could get a low paying job and earn some cash so that you could get a better education, to apply for a better job, you could sometimes get lucky and get a good job with no education, everytime you applied for a job there was a chance that you would either get it or not get it.

There is no walking animation or anything like that.

I hope Ive given enough details about this old gem, I would love to play it again!

Thanks before hand!

Doesn't seem like an exact match, but perhaps Jones in the Fast Lane?
