Town building game with people with red hats [Settlers 3]

i don't remember much about the game but here's what i do remember:
when you start the game there's like 20 or more little people that spawn in two (maybe 1) lines.
i don't know much of what you can build but you can build a little house (near or in water) that gathers fish or something
also you can somehow make knights that you can use to explore and go through black ''fog'' (it doesn't show much in it but you can kinda see the ground through it) that surrounds everything
the view is kinda top down (not completely top down but like an 80 degrees or something)
