Old game, not sure if DOS. Angelic theme, set in a cemetery.

So. I played this game when I was a kid, must have been back in the 90s.

I believe the character was a female dressed in some red clothes(?)
Also, it was a sort of angelic theme with the virgin Mary sculptures and such.

The game began in a cemetery and you then later progressed into some catacombs. I did not play it that much because I found it really gory and frightening.

I would really appreciate any help.

It was definitely a lot more action packed, and the graphics was something between the Gabriel Knight 1&2 :b

You could also try googling lists of games with female protagonists or female playable characters.

Here are two lists that I found, but it looks like there are lots out there. If you know the rough date the game came out, that might help you narrow long lists down.
