LOOKING FOR Banania / Bananoid / Gorillas / Bananas game ???

Post by emmzee »

Okay we're all pretty sick of posts asking for these games. There are a couple different games that you could be looking for involving bananas, so please pay attention:

Image
Game #1: Banania
This is a game in German where you go through mazes and collect bananas. It is not a DOS game, it is a Windows 3.1 game. As such you will likely need to install DOSBox and then also install Windows 3.1, or run Windows 3.1 in a virtualization software, or something like that.
Download Banania here

Image
Game #2: Bananoid
This is a VGA Arkanoid clone where the goal is to break bricks by bouncing the ball off your paddle.
Download Bananoid here

Game #3: Gorillas
This is a game that came with QBasic (part of MS-DOS 5.0 and onward) where you play a monkey and throw bananas at the other monkey.
Download Gorillas here (It's in the "QB Collection")
You will also need QBasic or QuickBasic to play this game. To get QBasic, download the olddos.exe file from that website.
You can also play a Flash version of Gorillas online in your web browser on Play.vg.

Use DOSBox or these games probably won't work on your computer!
To play Bananoid & Gorillas on modern computers, you will likely need to use DOSBox.

Please do not make new threads about these games. Thanks!

*sigh*
Can you read?
Image <<click<<
Run the olddos.exe on your virtual C: folder, NOT, I repeat: NOT in one of your Windows folders or your C:\ root.

Next: run qbasic and load gorilla.bas and use the start menu item to run the game.

Banania is a Win3 game, you need dosbox+Win3.
