Work in Progress: Untitled So Far

Here are some lyrics I'm working on:
Right now, there are a few parts I like, and a few I really don't like. Overall, it isn't finished though. I still have a quite a bit to write, though I will probably end up shortening it.
Dan, he was a train man
A real fancy man
Pushing coke all through the day
When he'd get caught up smoke
All the maids, they'd head his way
There were the azure men
Starry eyed old gentlemen
Plucking cherries, breaking vines
Inhaling newborn aging spirits
Making vinegars of their wines
Jack was a gambler
Serving as a hostler
He knew well those, reapers bound,
Times he'd held those shattered fiends,
Tenants of his little playground
Dan rode into that place
He spit on Jack’s ace
And stole from his hand, the queen
Pains long gone and never again
Better left alone, something to clean
