You're not alone with missing ZPZ, I finally have enough money scraped together to get a ticket and it's sold out. :(

Oh well, I did manage to get tickets to Amon Amarth, Nightwish & both Iron Maiden shows coming up early next year. :D

One time I had a Jack and coke and it had a lime in it, And I saw that the lime was floating. That's good news man. Next time I'm on a boat and it capsizes, I'll reach for a lime... I'll be water skiing without a life preserver and people'll say 'What the hell?' and I'll pull out a lime...and a lemon too. I'm saved by the buoyancy of citrus.

the last one I went to was Cog at Newcastle University, they played with Something With Numbers, Butterfingers, Muscles, Royal Crown Revue and Faker.
I have also been to Karnivool + Dead Letter Circus + Waterview (Sept 2007)
The Butterfly Effect + Chevelle + Dead Letter Circus (July 2007)
Weird Al Yankovic (May 2007)
Mastodon + Slayer (April 2007)
Spiderbait - NYE 2005 (didn't have tickets so stood on the road where I could see the stage)
This year NYE hope to do the same for Grinspoon + The Butterfly Effect.
Entombed (1999) Testeagles (1999) Primary (1999)
MxPx (1998) Nancy Vandal (1998) Frenzal Rhomb (1998 + 1999)
Segression + Fear Factory (1999)
A whole heap of Newcastle bands...not about to list them all!

I'm seeing Streetlight Manifesto on Sunday. I'm pretty excited. I've seen them open for other people twice in the past, but this is the first time I've ever seen them headline. They're opening shows were AWESOME (way better than the bands they were opening for), so I'm stoked.

Anyway, I have seen:
Rancid
Brand New
Less Than Jake
Reel Big Fish
Mad Caddies

and I went to two Warped Tours and saw a ton of bands, but the only ones that really stand out are The Offspring, NoFX, and The Casualties.

What's your opinion on them as a band? I know this girl who thinks they're incredible, but none of their stuff has really impressed me.

Good to see you back!

I really like Rancid.
Pretty jealous that you saw them live.

Doggy; maybe you've heard the dud tracks. There's a few tracks of theirs i don't like...
What have you heard?

I was meant to be seeing Mountain Goats next week, but they canceled. :(

Saw a whole bunch a couple weeks ago including;
Thursday
Sugarcult
MSI
The Matches
Killswitch Engage
Incubus
Offspring
heaps of others...

Recently saw Natalie Imbruglia and the Philosopher Kings at the Earth Hour concert in Toronto ... does that count? :) Both were pretty good considering the less than perfect venue/crowd and bad weather!
