How to watch DivX with a Pentium MMX?

Post by fabiobol »

I tried to watch many DiVX with Windows Media Player 7, 9, BSPlayer, VLC e MPlayer. but with all the results were very bad. If I use QuickView, the images go fast, but every 2 or 3 seconds, the video stops and goes on after a bit... I tried to preload sound, i solved the problem, but I had to wait about 15 minutes! Here is the configuration of my PC:

Pentium MMX 200 MHz
128 MB RAM SDRAM
MB PCChips M537DMA with bios upgraded.
Video s3 Virge DX PCI 4 MB
CD ROM 32x LG
HD Seagate 8 GB; HD WD 8 GB
Windows 98SE

How can I make them working?

You cant really. You would need more ram, a better video card, and a faster processor to make it play at full speed.
