Gizmo board - x86 single tiny board computer

Post by Quadko »

I just saw this on HackADay: The Gismo Board, a small single board x86 computer. (Basically a Raspberry Pi inspired x86 sbc.)

Could be some fun to be had here!

That's a lovely small form motherboard, and pretty complete.
Whilst you can get more powerful industrial small form boards those aren't accessible (nor affordable!!!) for the common peeps (read: hobbyists) .

Looks cool!

Those are all ARM based, right? So definitely can't run x86 dos/games on them? But maybe dosbox has an ARM port, wouldn't surprise me. :)
