What Apogee games do you have?

Post by Mingy Jongo »

I bought Crystal Caves and Secret Agent from apogee1.com and I love them. They were a steal for $10 each, even though they are very old. I'm thinking of buying Commander Keen 1-3 next, then Cosmo. Post games you have.

Wow, that's a lot. Did you get them when they first came out, recent when they made most of them $10, or abandonware  ?

I know that we have registered versions (floppy disks) for Duke Nukem, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, and Commander Keen (1-3). I think we also have Monster Bash and some others but I'm not sure. They're buried in the 10-12 boxes of floppy disks we've got lying around the house here.

No, I don't support Warez. Just buy them and don't bitch about the price, if $30 is "way too high" for two games you think are fun then you need to get a job.

Dopefish, did you buy Boppin or Alien Carnage from 3d realms? If so, did they come in a winzip self extractor? If so, I'd be willing to buy them since you can't get them anymore.

I got Boppin' from them but I ordered the floppies so there's no Winzip. I got Alien Carnage from EB and it's also on floppies.

All the Keen games, alien carnage, secret agent, mystic towers, hocus pocus, cosmo's cosmic adventures, crystal caves. Everything after the keens are first episodes or legal shareware. Since I have a debit card now I believe it's time to get the full versions and the rest of the episodes for each of the above. :bday:

It's funny that you mentioned GateWorld. It was going to be published by Apogee, but they thought the quality was low, so they let HomeBrew Software publish it.
