As for me, my favorite DOS game is the Solitaire Suite by Randy Rasa (I even have the Registered version) :D

NetHack, without a doubt. I'm surprised no one's mentioned it - isn't it a DOS game? My second favourite would be Cannon Fodder.

Most adventure games are cool. Most shooters are cool. But my favorite is:
Transport Tycoon Deluxe! I like transport, I like building and I really like money, so that wasn't that hard. :laugh:

and of course dn 1&2,wolfenstein.

Mortal Kombat
Mega Man X

And a whole bunch of other 3D shooters and stuff.

And Nethack is a Windows game, at least it is now. Previously, it was DOS, and before that UNIX... and it's been available on just about every other system since then.

Probably Wolf3d. I still remember downloaing it at 2400baud and once the 700k zip was down I played it - wow! Then of course I found the cheats, the level designers etc etc
