No, I've just discovered my ACTUAL favorite DOS game (trilogy): Jill of the Jungle, of course!

Havent played very many of them, but I loved and still do love SimCity classic. Even though I mainly played it on OS7.5.3 when we had our old LC II out, the copy we had was on CD and came with the 3.1 and DOS version. But if I had to choose a different one, Lemmings or Wing Commander would be it.

Epic had another, very similar game called "Xargon". You should check it out.

IIRC, when I reduced it to er... lower than 20x20, the image was really crappy. Meh, if you can do better, by all means, do so! :)

Rise of the Triad or Tyrian. Both are games synonymous with awesome.

I was thinking that, too... I keep mistaking the new user ranking icons as avatars... 'cause I'm a noob like that.

Hey guys. My first time here. I've just been reading through this whole thread. Thought I'd contribute.

My favorite game of all time would have to be Quake. Nothing even comes close to it. The mods for it like CTF and racing, the online play...it was pretty amazing.

Some other titles that I had brief obsessions with:

DOOM
Rise of the Triad
Blood
Heretic
Commander Keen
Wacky Wheels
Big Red Racing
Red Baron
Grand Theft Auto series
Duke Nukem
Kings Quest series
Full Throttle
Sim City 2000

Take care guys. Thanks for all the memories!

DS7.

In no particular order:

M.A.X.
Master of Magic
Master of Orion 2
Star Control 1 & 2

Then honourable mentions to doom, rise of the triad, anacreon, & alien legacy I suppose.

A great site this, a bit of nostalgia overload.
