Thanks to Wally4000 for finding me this link. It's a BBS site with TONS of rare older games from the early 90's... including Local Area Dungeon (the game I joined Dosgames.com trying to find) and several old ZZT games I've never seen before! This is a real goldmine... it's hard to find old sites that still have active download links for games.
