#Dosgames doesn't exist anymore... apparently both me and the channal were K-lined from Austnet for some so far unexplained reason. =/ Kazer0 is helping me find a new host at the moment (I forget the name)-next time he's on and I have some time we'll rebuild #Dosgames.

Dogbreath may i suggest winmx

Its a great Place as you have cable but the only thing when you host a channel you must leave your computer all the time!

you can do all the things in MIRC but can also have administrators and all other peeps monitoring the room...

I can help setup but unfortunately i only have 56k

www.winmx.com

Enjoy your day

irc has been around since 1988 though, and its technical side keeps the idiots out. well, some of them. also, you yould have to use winmx to use its chat, when winmx is also p2p, and could be outlawed in the future. sorry man, but if we had any type of chatroom besides IRC, i'd never go.

Same here-IRC is the most versatile and usable chat system around-not to mention that it's text only UNIX based making it so even 56kers can use it and not kill their connection. (Also, IRC requires some basic computer intelligence skills so we can keep the general chartroom idiots out-better than any banning system around)

Odd, I always found IRC to be like an idiot's booth at the stupid convention. Everyone thinks they're "t3h 1337 h4X0r".

1337 4@x0|2z in IRC are few and far between though-unlike Chatrooms where they come outta the walls.

I downloaded Abuse. That must have been the best half hour I've ever spent downloading a game. Man does it rock! :bday:

I've been wondering for too long, what the heck does 1337 stand for?
"You believe me," I said gratefully.
"Of course I do," and he held out his hand. "I believe everything out of the common. The only thing to distrust is the normal."
