Alright, I got the game working, but it is having horrible sound problems. Is there a way to fix that? Someone mentioned DOS sounds are set up differently from PC sounds or something. Actually it seems to lag. When I was asking questions it seemed to go slow and the sounds appear not right. And when...

Can You Use Community Made Mods on Daggerfall Using DOSBox?
I downloaded Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall. I have heard that there are many mods made by the community that adds to the longevity of the already huge game. Does this free version, as well as using DOSBox, allow for community made projects and patches, as well as patches from the original creators? If s...

I do not bother selling created stuff. Things I create are free as well, although I do not pretend they are worth to be sold anyway. Regardless, I have read the rules and see that two sites, assuming that they are still up, are allowed regarding abandonware, so I shall be searching them as well. :th...

Ahhh... I think I meant GoG in the buying department not MobyGames, but Moby does have a huge list of games. Although I do have a question regarding legal free games. There was a website I found many years ago, that was like this one, heck it might of even been this one, that had all these g...

Well, speaking of not as good as it could be. I personally feel I could make a game. However, it is not up to me how good it is. It depends on if I am inspired. I think Jesus Christ plays a big role in my life. He always picks me up when I think I have nothing left. Anyways, I hope my programming g...

Yes that has to be the game. The only other game I can even think of was strictly on the original PS1 called Soul of the Samurai. However that was a sub par game in my opinion. But when you said samuria and Resident Evil, that is what came to mind first. Edit: I apologize for reviving an old thread.

This irks me not knowing, because I am pretty good on original PlayStation games. However when you say fantasy and 3rd person, was this a hack and slash, an RPG, an adventure game, etc.? And was this on a PSM (PlayStation Monthly) demo disk or something that came with the console as a demo? Deathtra...

I am quite content with what games are availble legally for free. There are so many and I was looking at MOBY and they have quite a few for the entire series for a very decent price. I assume they give you the keys for them. I have heard other ways of gaining keys and I have been burnt more than onc...

That is an interesting story and worth researching. That is the game yes and I am using DOSBOX. However what I meant was, should I run another program from my game file folder. Can I run both the “begin.exe” and something else at the same time? Or do I have to run the other first and save the config...

No Sound Or Music In Ancients
I assume some games, depending on how old and or the quality of the game, may or may not have any music or sounds. However I would assume Ancients (Which I downloaded from this site from the RPG section.) would have something. I know sound works with Alleycat, but I am not sure what is wrong with An...

Early 90's Racing/Obstacle Course Rollerskating Kicking Cans
My final game question for now. As with the others it may have been early 90's or late 80's, Windows and DOS or CD and a racing/obstacle course type game where you are on roller skates/blades and trying to simply get from one end of the field to the other before the time ran out, going left to right...

Early 90's Simulation Species Roaming Mating Game 3D Blocky
As the rest of my games so far in question, it was most likely for Windows in the early 90's or late 80's, DOS or CD and it was a simulation type game. You started as a bug, maybe a spider and it was your quest to find your mate as it were. The land was very flat for the most part, although there wa...

Early 90's Adventure 3D Driving With Dinos In Desert/Caverns
Like my other game question, all I can say is I think it was for Windows, may have been either DOS or CD and was back in the early 90's, but perhaps late 80's. You are in a car/vehicle (Or maybe it was suppose to represent you moving around on foot...) blocky looking thing and you were traveling aro...
